Diesel Laptops’ Marine Diagnostics caters to mobile marine mechanics, non-OEM small shops that work on a little bit of everything, surveyors who do inspections, yachts with outboards or jet skis, boat rentals, etc. We get to learn about marine diagnostic tools, what they diagnose, different software, what to expect when attending trade shows, and how automotive, trucks, heavy equipment and marine all bridge together.

Tim talks about what it is like to attend boat and yacht shows, how long they last and what to expect. They also discuss some of the challenges that the marine industry faces, such as mechanic shortages and how sometimes the software can lag behind the ever-evolving changes in the industry. Tyler tells us about his personal experience with diagnosing his own boat and how easy it was to use. Tim walks us through how the different software such as M.E.D.S., Cojali, and TEXA each meet different specialized needs within the marine industry.
