The Virtual Diesel Expo is an online event for shop owners, repair technicians, and everyone else in the diesel industry. Over the course of three days, presentations and training on light duty, medium and heavy duty, and off-highway are hosted by world-class experts in their field. 

This year, Diesel Laptops partnered with Alliant Power for Virtual Diesel Expo 2022. Matt Herold, a diagnostic consultant with ALLDATA, was there. We asked Matt what he thought about the experience…

“I would say anyone that’s working in a shop - whether you’re management or you’re a technician - you should find time to be there. I saw everything from classes that would help a guy that’s doing PM work to better understand what he’s doing to shop owners and management. It seemed like a really great variety like you would expect to see at a big event in-person. I don’t think it’s a replacement for in-class training, but it’s definitely a very close second. It’s pretty phenomenal.”
